"Let Them Eat Cake!"

Okay, so we know that the "famous" Marie Antionette line was an exaggeration, but our newest limited-edition set is a bit of an exaggeration, too, so it felt right! Read a bit more about our vision below, as well as how to put yourself in front of the camera and save $500!

For this dreamy pastel playground, we imagined what it would be like running through the halls of Versailles, wearing only the finest silks and feathers, and eating decadent treats to our heart's content. We wanted to get back to the original "Boudoir" and slow things down to a leisurely, luxurious pace. From sugary cakes, to fresh flowers, to vintage porcelain, every detail of these sessions was thoughtful and intentional, and we hope you love it as much as we do.

While dreaming up this concept, our Team ALP Stylist, Carly, knew that we had to go with a fun (and historically-accurate) pink wig and era-inspired playful makeup! Carly has created several similar makeup looks to work on any skin tone, and the over-the-top wig looks great on everyone! We have several ways to customize the wig's "add-ins" and customize it to each client's wardrobe choice or personality, as well. We love doing a modern take on this iconic style!

I also knew that the tasty treats would be crucial for the whole vibe, so I turned to the always-trusty Andi at Kuroki Bakery, and she did not disappoint! Each session comes with her beautifully and professionally made mini-cakes in gorgeous pastel colors; a pretty pastry that you get to take home with you afterwards! Some of our favorite photos through the years have included food in some way, so it makes perfect sense that this decadent display would follow that theme, too!

Bringing this vision to life has been such a dream come-true, and something that my entire team and I are incredibly proud of!
